This is certainly the conclusion of celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Tze Ip, who’s been happy to welcome a whole new wave of women onto the operating table. These patients are eager to have more shapelier breasts, usually a B or C cup. Dr. Ip recently told Mail Online: “Women, for the most part, are no longer interested in huge, in-your-face, over the top boobs. They want something natural looking and proportionate to their body. I would say my most requested is a B to C cup, depending on the patient.”
The surgeon added: “Trends come and go, but recently I have been doing more reductions and getting requests for small to medium size breasts that give patients just a little cleavage.”
So where has the preference for more natural-looking breast implants come from? According to Dr. Ip, it’s down to changes in fashion. He explained: “Patients want breast implants to be able to wear certain clothes like swimsuits and nice dresses that would look better without a bra.”

This is according to a survey carried out by Transform, which recently determined that 18 to 24-year-olds are choosing breast sizes 7% smaller than women aged 43 to 48. The report – in which 20,000 women were surveyed – also found that the average age of women undergoing breast enlargements is 30.
