LOVE ISLAND IS OFFICIALLY THE HOTTEST SHOW ON TELEVISION.
IT’S NOT JUST THE PROSPECT OF WATCHING TRUE LOVE IN ACTION THAT’S LURED IN VIEWERS, BUT ALSO THE BEAUTIFUL FACES AND CHISELLED BODIES OF THE CONTESTANTS.
As a result, this has led fans to consider going under the knife in an effort to improve their own appearance and live up to the stunners they see on the programme.
According to a new survey carried out by YouGov, 8% of female viewers are now open to the idea of a breast enhancement. Meanwhile, the same percentage admitted that they would consider some sort of anti-wrinkle treatment in an effort to capture the same youthful complexions routinely seen on Love Island. A further 7% now have one eye on the possibility of undergoing liposuction to finally achieve their desired figure.
These three procedures weren’t the only ones that were on people’s minds after watching the likes of Dani and Jack find love in the villa. Instead, lip fillers also ranked quite highly on the list of cosmetic procedures that viewers were thinking about getting. The treatment – in which the lips are made to look plumper and shapelier – has captured the imagination of 11% of those who regularly sit down to watch Love Island.
It might come as no surprise to learn that the contestants themselves have also come round to the idea of altering their appearance following their stint on the hit reality show. In particular, Laura Anderson recently underwent a number of cosmetic procedures – including cheek fillers and a rhinoplasty. The clinic that performed the operations broke the news, telling The Sun: “We think it has genuinely taken years off her, even though she was absolutely stunning to begin with. It’s been an honour working with a truly genuine, and lovely person inside and out.”
