The CBB 2018 line-up is very pro-cosmetic surgery

CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER VIEWERS ARE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR WHICH CONTESTANTS HAVE HAD PLASTIC SURGERY BEFORE ENTERING THE HOUSE.

Cbb-2018 pro-cosmetic surgery
This year most the line-up – aside from Rodrigo Alves – has stayed hush on their own experience of cosmetic surgery before joining the show. This, however, doesn’t mean that they’re against going under the knife. Instead, many of the stars have previously spoken out in support of cosmetic surgery.
For instance, take Gabby Allen. The reality star shot to stardom after appearing on Love Island in 2017 – before later admitting that she was eyeing up a boob job after the show ended. According to Gabby, she’s always had her heart set on a breast augmentation because she believes it will give her more confidence. Speaking candidly about the prospect of undergoing the procedure, she once told The Daily Star: “I’m the only girl in my whole family that doesn’t have big boobs, they kind of just missed me out. I think it would give me more confidence if I had them.”
Meanwhile, Chloe Ayling has previously been happy to throw her support behind anyone who’s made the decision to go under the knife. In particular, she backed her pal Megan Barton Hanson after she was criticised for having surgery before appearing on Love Island in 2018. Speaking about her friend’s performance on the show, Chloe told Lorraine: “She is one of the good looking girls in there, because of that people try and tear her down like on how much she spends on plastic surgery. Like why does that matter. It’s just jealousy really.”
In addition, Sally Morgan is no stranger to improving her appearance with a little help. The famous psychic, 66 achieved her figure with the help of weight loss surgery – and she’s also been happy to discuss this in the past.
Where do you stand?
Celebrity Big Brother is just another example of how accepting people have become of cosmetic surgery. If you’re thinking of getting a piece of the action and have a procedure in mind, don’t hesitate to find out more information by getting in touch with the experts at Belvedere.

Men are now embracing the idea of getting a facelift

Men-are-embracing-facelift surgery-Women have long been the biggest fans of cosmetic surgery. This, of course, is why breast enlargements tend to reign supreme as the number one requested procedure in the world. However, there’s no doubt that men are also coming round to the idea of going under the knife. It’s not their figures that they’re concerned with though, but their faces.

ACCORDING TO A LEADING PLASTIC SURGEON, MORE AND MORE MEN ARE OPTING TO SHAVE OFF THE YEARS WITH THE HELP OF A FACELIFT.

These men – who tend to be around 40-years-old – are bypassing less invasive procedures as they suddenly decide turn back the clock when they hit middle age. Surgeon Dr Foued Hamza believes that men are coming to this decision at a very good time in their lives. He told GQ: “Around 40 is a great time to think about having a facelift.”
The medical expert also told the publication that the majority of his patients fall into three categories in terms of how they’ve come to decide upon having a facelift. He explained: “One, they have specific concerns about their face that the surgeon can see. Two, they are motivated to have the surgery for themselves, not because they are pressured by a partner. Three, they have realistic expectations about the impact of the change in their appearance on their lives.”
This trend of men embracing cosmetic surgery is something that’s been growing over the past few years. While women still make up roughly 92% of cosmetic procedures, the number of men going under the knife actually rose by an incredible 3% in 2016 alone. This is according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, whose data found that 1.3million procedures were carried out on men in 2016. This figure encompasses facelifts, as well as other treatments – such as liposuction and nose jobs.
Is a facelift on your mind?

Natural-looking breast implants are becoming very popular

natural-breast-implantsBreast implants have long been associated with the likes of Katie Price and Pamela Anderson. While these two ladies have fabulous physiques, it’s not necessarily the route that every woman would choose to go down – nor does it have to be!

PLASTIC SURGEONS ARE NOW NOTICING A PATTERN WHERE WOMEN ARE STILL OPTING FOR A BREAST ENLARGEMENT, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME CHOOSING A MORE NATURAL-LOOKING PROFILE.

This is certainly the conclusion of celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Tze Ip, who’s been happy to welcome a whole new wave of women onto the operating table. These patients are eager to have more shapelier breasts, usually a B or C cup. Dr. Ip recently told Mail Online: “Women, for the most part, are no longer interested in huge, in-your-face, over the top boobs. They want something natural looking and proportionate to their body. I would say my most requested is a B to C cup, depending on the patient.”
The surgeon added: “Trends come and go, but recently I have been doing more reductions and getting requests for small to medium size breasts that give patients just a little cleavage.”
So where has the preference for more natural-looking breast implants come from? According to Dr. Ip, it’s down to changes in fashion. He explained: “Patients want breast implants to be able to wear certain clothes like swimsuits and nice dresses that would look better without a bra.”
If you’re interested in discovering who is behind these more natural boob jobs, look no further than millennials. This is according to a survey carried out by Transform, which recently determined that 18 to 24-year-olds are choosing breast sizes 7% smaller than women aged 43 to 48. The report – in which 20,000 women were surveyed – also found that the average age of women undergoing breast enlargements is 30.
Do you want bigger breasts?
Just because you choose to have breast enlargement surgery doesn’t mean that your chest has to look enormous afterwards. Instead, you can be the proud owner of stunning natural-looking breasts that complement your outfits. Whether you’d like to see a modest increase in your bra size, or something a little larger, get in touch with Belvedere.

Love Island viewers have started considering plastic surgery

LOVE ISLAND IS OFFICIALLY THE HOTTEST SHOW ON TELEVISION.

Love Island viewers have started considering plastic surgery

IT’S NOT JUST THE PROSPECT OF WATCHING TRUE LOVE IN ACTION THAT’S LURED IN VIEWERS, BUT ALSO THE BEAUTIFUL FACES AND CHISELLED BODIES OF THE CONTESTANTS.

As a result, this has led fans to consider going under the knife in an effort to improve their own appearance and live up to the stunners they see on the programme.
According to a new survey carried out by YouGov, 8% of female viewers are now open to the idea of a breast enhancement. Meanwhile, the same percentage admitted that they would consider some sort of anti-wrinkle treatment in an effort to capture the same youthful complexions routinely seen on Love Island. A further 7% now have one eye on the possibility of undergoing liposuction to finally achieve their desired figure.
These three procedures weren’t the only ones that were on people’s minds after watching the likes of Dani and Jack find love in the villa. Instead, lip fillers also ranked quite highly on the list of cosmetic procedures that viewers were thinking about getting. The treatment – in which the lips are made to look plumper and shapelier – has captured the imagination of 11% of those who regularly sit down to watch Love Island.
It might come as no surprise to learn that the contestants themselves have also come round to the idea of altering their appearance following their stint on the hit reality show. In particular, Laura Anderson recently underwent a number of cosmetic procedures – including cheek fillers and a rhinoplasty. The clinic that performed the operations broke the news, telling The Sun: “We think it has genuinely taken years off her, even though she was absolutely stunning to begin with. It’s been an honour working with a truly genuine, and lovely person inside and out.”
Are you a fan of Love Island?

'Mummy makeovers' linked to spike in plastic surgery

It’s clear that plastic surgery has become a viable option for all age groups and demographics. In particular, studies have shown that both the young and the old – as well as everyone in between – are open to improving their appearance where possible. It turns out there’s another under-reported group of society partaking in their fair share of cosmetic surgery: mothers.

ACCORDING TO NEW RESEARCH, ‘MUMMY MAKEOVERS’ ARE A REAL THING – AND THEY’RE PARTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SPIKE WE’RE SEEING IN PLASTIC SURGERY.

The term ‘mummy makeover’ is being used to describe new mums who turn to going under the knife after giving birth. This is largely down to the impact that pregnancy has had on their bodies, including weight gain and sagging breasts. There are, however, also those people using plastic surgery as a mental boost as they adjust to the demands of motherhood.
Richard Baxter, a plastic surgeon from Seattle, Washington, revealed that the trend has certainly become more prominent over recent years. He told Allure: “We’ve definitely seen an uptick in mummy makeover-type procedures. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that most new moms are millennials, and they tend to be more accepting of the idea [of plastic surgery].”
Meanwhile, it’s been found that the age group most eager to undergo a ‘mummy makeover’ is those aged 25 to 34. The findings were discovered by RealSelf, who suggested it’s further proof that millennials are typically more accepting of sugically altering their appearance than previous generations before them.
Interestingly, men have also been found to embrace plastic surgery after becoming fathers. While with women this decision is generally because they want to return to their pre-pregnancy bodies, dads are interested in cosmetic surgery as a means of recapturing their youth or making strides in their career. Last year the American Society for Plastic Surgery reported that young men undergoing cosmetic procedures has shot up by 325% since 1997 as a result.
Are you a new mum?
If you’ve recently welcomed a little bundle of joy and are considering plastic surgery for the first time, then you should know that you’re not alone. As you make your decision, don’t hesitate to find out all the information you need by getting in touch with Belvedere.

Over 40s are also considering cosmetic surgery thanks to social media

OVER RECENT YEARS THERE’S BEEN AN OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF STUDIES LINKING SOCIAL MEDIA TO THE INCREASED NUMBER OF PEOPLE CHOOSING TO HAVE PLASTIC SURGERY.

Over-40's-are-considering-cosmetic surgery thanks to social media

HOWEVER, IT’S NOW BEEN FOUND THAT IT’S NOT JUST THE YOUNG WHO ARE DRIVEN TO TAKE ACTION THANKS TO THE WORLD WIDE WEB. A NEW SURVEY HAS FOUND THAT THE OVER 40’S ARE ALSO TURNING TO THE OPERATING TABLE THANKS TO WEBSITES LIKE FACEBOOK.

Ceatus Media Group, a digital marketing and reputation management agency, recently released a report through their health portal called the Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery. It has found that 73% of social media users admit to feeling ‘self-conscious’ when observing their selfies online – even if they’ve uploaded the snaps themselves. Of these, 60% said they would consider a cosmetic procedure because of how they appear in photos.
Arguably, the most surprising part of the study is that the majority of people who are now considering plastic surgery are aged 41 or above. This generation – who have been found to favour platforms like Facebook and Instagram over ones like Snapchat and Twitter – are now keen to brave the waters of cosmetic surgery thanks to social media.
This has been linked to the popularity of photo-editing software, which allows users to experiment with how their skin tone, texture and wrinkles appear to the outside world. Of those questioned in the survey, 67% admitted to modifying their pictures before sharing them with their friends and family online.
Ceatus CEO Dr. David Evans said: “These first-of-their-kind findings are really eye opening. Our results suggest that these photo-editing tools may serve as a bridge between selfies and plastic surgery.”
Millennials – the name given to those who became adults following the year 2000 – have previously had their plastic surgery habits linked with social media. In particular, their preference for using filters was said to have a huge impact on their decision to choose surgery as a more permanent solution to their insecurities.
