Various plastic surgeons from the US to the UK have reported an increase in women looking for these types of procedure, with women becoming increasingly concerned about the appearance of their thighs, and looking for a surgical solution.
The whole procedure generally takes no more than a few hours, with those who choose to undergo thighlighting generally able to go home on the same day as the surgery takes place.
The results of the thighlighting surgery bring both physical and psychological benefits. It can help to make the thighs look longer than they are, and streamline a woman’s overall appearance, as well as improving the proportions of the body and giving a brand new look to the contours of the leg. Psychologically, the procedure can also boost a woman’s confidence, ensuring that she both looks and feels comfortable in public.
Thighlighting became so popular as a result of the body-hugging dresses that celebrities such as Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift are often seen wearing at public events, with high splits exposing a long expanse of thigh.
